HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Ability to support a variety of technologies, business departments and systems, and independently resolve problems and pro-actively communicate solutions
- Remain current on IT issues by acquiring and maintaining knowledge of relevant products and initiatives
- Research tools and processes to evaluate their usefulness to departmental and corporate needs
- Support department policies by providing technically accurate solutions to end users within the provided guidelines
- Enhance the quality and efficiency of the Technical Services team by participating in team projects and initiatives
- Ensure the delivery, availability and provide subject matter technical expertise on infrastructure in support of project initiatives
- Investigate and participate as a 3rd level SME in resolution of system problems to ensure maximum availability of the infrastructure and systems
- Review, maintain and provide ongoing improvements to the general environment for all hardware and software
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 5-10 years demonstrated experience in administration of service call, incident and problem management tools
- Experience in designing, deploying, hardening and supporting a Windows 2008r2 / Windows 2012R2 / Windows 2016 Servers and Domain including DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services
- Proficiency with Tripwire Enterprise and Log Center
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing in a team environment
- ITIL Foundation Certification or additional certifications considered an asset
- Able to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings and weekends as required
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to multiple projects and/or tasks with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills with a natural ability to work with and support colleagues, ability to adapt to and work effectively with co-workers who have different styles and levels of technical knowledge
- Positive, flexible, open-minded approach towards work assignments
- College diploma in Computer Systems Technology - Networking or Computer & Network, or similar; University Degree in Computer Science; or equivalent work experience
