- The rate of pay will be $30-$38/hr.
- This will be a full-time, permanent position
- This will be an in-person role
- Managing benefits administration: remittances, renewal process, health spending accounts, regulatory filings, and answering employee inquiries
- Tracking staff vacation time and banked hours – accounting for vacation pay and individual allowances as well as staff eligible bonuses
- Reporting on budgets, weighted averaging, government required transparency measures, operations, and provincial WCB returns
- Posting invoices, payments, collections, and refunds, always ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
- Following month-end processes and year-end tax filings
- Maintaining files for payments, invoices, purchase orders, requisitions, and AP/AR
- 5+ years experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience with WCB, payroll, and employee benefit management
- Experience with Quickbooks desktop
- Highly trustworthy and focused on confidentiality
- Strong organization skills and comfortability with creative problem solving
- Post Secondary Education in finance or accounting
