Assistant Controller

Haul-All Equipment Ltd is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller and CFO in compiling and maintaining reliable financial statements, management level reports and operational budgets.

Duties will include:

· Payroll processing and oversight

· General ledger reconciliation and analysis

· Maintain standard costing for purchased and manufactured parts

· Assist with yearly insurance renewal and periodic requests

· Assist with the management of day-to-day cash flow needs

· Assist with cash flow projections and analysis

· Assist with federal and provincial filing and reporting

· Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements

· Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping for subsidiary corporations

· Assist with budget compilation and analysis

· Compilation of management reports

· Analyze cost variances

· Support tax-based management decisions

Qualifications

· University degree

· Nearly or newly designated CPA

· 3-to-5 years of accounting experience

· Experience with cost accounting and tax

· Experience with ERP software an asset
