Boasting an off-road riding park like no other which includes a sprawling campground, Pro Shop, service department, storage garages and all of the amenities needed to give customers an all-inclusive experience will off-road riding on their dirt bikes, ATV's and side by sides. Located in Norfolk County, Ontario it is perfectly situated between many major cities while far enough into the country to feel submerced in the experience. The Opportunity
As the Parts and Service Manager, you are responsible for managing a parts department along with assisting a knowledgeable service team. You are relied upon as an expert of our the parts and services that we offer at Gopher Dunes and your main goal is to ensure our staff provide the highest level of service to our customers. You are accountable for the speed, accuracy, and quality of service that the shop provides to our customers, and for identifying and executing process improvements within the parts department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of repair work, including the development of processes that ensure timely completion of service jobs
- Oversee inventory control exercises, price changes and signage in the parts department Minimize wait times at the parts counter and on the parts phone line by allocating staff and assisting where required
- Identify and execute operational efficiencies within the parts department's processes and practices
- Plan, prepare and carry out store sales, promotions and events
- Foster an engaging work environment for team members and customers
- Build positive team relations, demonstrate ethical behavior, and maintain all safety guidelines
Requirements
- Experience working as a parts & service manager in a transferable industry or like experience or experience with the power sports industry
- Self motivated, able to make critical decisions with minimal direction
- Strong leadership experience managing a small team
- Strong business acumen
- Customer service mindset
- Bondable with clean driving record
