Associate Manager, Electrical Assembly

Job description

Manage and grow a high performing, diverse team capable of consistently delivering high quality workmanship
Support the hiring and training process of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Development of project plans, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets
Collaborate with the design team, project management, and engineers to review plans schedules, specifications, and drawings including resolving design clashes
Drive improvement activities across the shift to increase team knowledge and capability
Provide support for new equipment installation, startup, and hand over Improve preventative maintenance activities to decrease overall downtime
Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, milestones, and upcoming activities

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, relevantexperience, or equivalent
5+ years of supervisory experience as well as generalmanufacturing processes and automation build experience, including electricaland/or controls systems
Strong knowledge of automation equipment build practices,codes, regulations, and safety protocols
Must demonstrate reliability, initiative, and desire tolearn
Effective verbal and written communications skills alongwith strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
In-depth knowledge of Electrical Standards (NFPA79,National Electric code, UL508A) and Safety standards (ANSI/ RIA15.06, OSHA)
Must be able to travel both domestically andinternationally, must have and maintain a valid passport
