Job Summary:
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our service department. Your primary objective will be to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and profitable growth. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, coordinate service schedules, manage inventory, cultivate relationships with customers and vendors, and promote a culture of excellence within the service department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and professional development among service department staff.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct evaluations to motivate and recognize achievements.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues.
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow management and timely completion of service jobs.
- Coordinate schedules, assign work orders, and adjust priorities to meet customer demands.
- Manage inventory of parts, accessories, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing service delays.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate terms, manage returns, and explore cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and service procedures to guide and support technicians.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and dealership policies, including safety guidelines.
- Plan and coordinate service promotions in collaboration with the marketing department.
- Prepare required reports for management, including financial forecasts and warranty reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in service management within the automotive or RV industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and technical expertise.
- Familiarity with CRM software and service management tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Salary: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
