We are looking for a Service Manager for a small/medium sized import car dealership in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Previous management experience is not required, but significant dealership service experience is a must. Please apply for more information.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Automotive Service department
- Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs and maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train service staff
- Maintain accurate records of service transactions, including invoices, work orders, and warranty.
- Collaborate with sales and parts departments to achieve collective goals
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Previous experience in a dealership or Automotive Service management role
- Extensive mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints or issues effectively
- Proficient in cash handling and financial transactions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $75,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
