We are looking to hire a Bakery/Farmer's Market Sales Assistant here at TWGH!
Our bakery Sales Assistant will be responsible for giving customers a great in-bakery experience, merchandising product, running a farmer's market booth independently, setting up/taking down a farmer's market booth, assisting kitchen with production between customers, maintaining bakery cleanliness, scaling/general kitchen prep etc
The ideal candidate must have a valid drivers licence, a clean driving record and a vehicle. You will be tasked with transporting pastries/bread to and from a Farmer's Market.
Hours (30+ per week, may fluctuate):
Wednesday ~ 7:00am - 3:00pm
Thursday ~ 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
+ Saturday Farmer's Market Shift (Beginning in April/May) (6:30am - 1:00pm)

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Someone who takes pride in providing a great experience for our customers
- Experience in handling cash, credit card and debit transactions
- Relevant retail experience is a strong asset
- Food Handlers Certification is a strong asset
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanour
- Someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and enjoys learning new skills
- Someone who can self-manage and problem solve independently if needed
- A team player who is approachable and likes working with people
- The ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
This position begins at $18.00 per hour, raises to be applied based on performance and skill set.
