Candidates must be Smart Serve certified and must have their own transportation as hotel is not located on bus route.

Job Duties:
- Serving the host and guests of a party, all timeline and services must be met or exceeded;
- Serving buffets, sit-down and hors d’Oeuvres events;
- Setting tables with quality china, glass, silver and following details of event order;
- Ensuring high standards by following service standards of department;
- Exceeding customer expectations by anticipating service needs;
- Promoting an excellent work environment by following Standards of Excellence;
- Providing hands-on quality checks of room and individual tables;
- Ensuring a safe work environment by following all work practices;
- Following food safety and handling procedures and compliance regulations as outlined by hotel standards and federal, provincial and local laws;
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security policies and procedures as outlined by hotel standards and federal, provincial and local laws;
- Maintains superior standards of quality, service and cleanliness in the kitchen and service area;
- Consistently maintains a neat, organized and clean workspace and uniform;
- Demonstrates a commitment to provide the best possible experience for guests, ensuring superior personalized service;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred;
- Must hold valid Smart Serve Certification;
- Knowledge of principles, values and processes for providing superior guest service;
- Ability to project a professional, friendly and courteous image to guests;
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented;
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
