Bar Manager/Bartender

```Duties```
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service, check incident and communication log for matters that need to be addressed.
- Manage and train bar staff. Prepare upcoming schedules and present to Bar Chair for verification before distributing.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, rotating stock upon delivery or purchase.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Check the routines of each bar steward and confirm they are complying to their assigned duties.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner. Any matter which can't/shouldn't be dealt with at this level must be presented to the Bar Chair immediately.

```Skills```
- Proficiency in using a POS (Point of Sale) system to process orders and payments
- Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with calmness and professionalism
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Previous bartending experience
- Knowledge of food service procedures, including proper handling of glassware, garnishes, and utensils
- Basic math skills for accurately calculating bills, making change, and tracking inventory

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $18.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 44 per week
