We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bar and Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of the indoor go-kart facility by managing the effective operation of the Cafe Restaurant, Bar, and supporting all team members by ensuring operational excellence, budgetary control of the department, and fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Leading all team members and managing the daily operations of the Cafe and Bar. Being a positive role model for any and all staff members.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate staff in the Bar and cafe restaurant.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by assisting in customer interactions and addressing concerns promptly. Contribute to the auditing of the customer experience to maintain high standards.
- Financial Responsibilities: Cash handling duties, including till preparation, and deposit preparation. Budgetary control of departmental requirements.
- Operational Support: Aid in ordering and purchasing food, beverage(s), supplies, etc. Performing operational paperwork related to safety, accounting, and inventory.
- Facility Maintenance: Support the maintenance of the practical operational feasibility of the center.
- Safety Compliance: Collaborate with the management team to consistently follow safety protocols and regulations.
- Training and Development: Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new staff members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food and bar management role is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Holds at least 3-5 years of experience in comparable management roles or customer service.
