Job Title: Bartender
Department: Restaurant, Front of House
Reporting To: Director, Food & Beverage
Supervising Manager: Bar Manager

Job Description:

The role of a Bartender involves creating a vibrant and engaging bar atmosphere by skillfully preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Bartenders play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer experience through their mixology expertise, excellent communication, and attentive customer service in a dynamic bar setting.

Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with patrons in a friendly and attentive manner, providing recommendations and creating a positive and enjoyable bar experience.
• Efficiently maintain bar area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Take and accurately process drink orders, conveying them promptly to serving staff
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, promptly resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Take ownership of the guest experience at the bar from start to finish.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a bar or hospitality setting is seen as an asset
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Valid Smartserve
