DescriptionThis hybrid position is for those who like variation in job responsibilities, switching between two departments on a seasonal basis. This dual opportunity requires and develops a variety of skills while engaging in product activities during fall and winter then moving to CUSTOMER SERVICE duties in spring and summer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of pricing and detailed product information for Jonview’s suppliers in fall and winter and then for passenger on the road and post travel support in spring and summer.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate and effective loading and costing of Jonview’s single component products, ensuring there is a signed contract for each supplier.
- Responsible for sending requests for rates and contracts, chasing by e-mail and telephone.
- Accurately compare rates, terms and conditions and communicate clearly to Contracting Managers
- Accurately load single and multi-component packages (if required) into the operating system in a timely manner according to department procedures.
- Make appropriate checks and follow the proofing procedures to ensure absolute accuracy within deadlines, in order to fully transact business.
- Answer queries from all departments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of Canadian Tourism product and geographical knowledge of Canada
- Provide passenger assistance
- Respond to complaints post-travel
- Assist in the completion of any projects, as assigned
