Building Superintendent

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building management, possess excellent leadership skills, and be knowledgeable in various mechanical systems.

Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the building, ensuring all systems are functioning properly
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and prioritize work orders
- Work well with other staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including completed work orders and equipment repairs
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance projects
- Provide leadership and training to maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency

Experience:
- Proven experience in building management or a related field
- Familiarity with CMMS software (training provided)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues
- Prior experience supervising a team of maintenance staff is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: $40,000.00-$44,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
