Compensation: $63,941 - $97,937 per annum (Level I or II, depending on education and experience)

We are looking for a Business Analystin our Information Services department!
Reporting to the Team Lead Business Analysts, your primary objective is to elicit the needs of stakeholders and act as a bridge between business areas, stakeholders, and the Information Services solution team. You'll analyze and synthesize information provided by Servus members, staff, IT professionals, vendors, and management. As a Business Analyst, you play an integral role in aligning the business needs of the organization to the capabilities of information technology solutions to deliver effective business value.
More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to development of a Requirements Management Strategy that includes tools, standards, templates, and processes focused on efficient utilization of resources and continuous improvement, and development and adoption of a Business Process Framework (BPMN) that supports a business-centric approach to business process analysis and continuous improvement
- Identify potential improvement opportunities within the BA, IS, and Program areas of the organization and make recommendations on how these opportunities could be realized and implemented across the enterprise
- Lead, facilitate, and/or collaborate development of new operational/technological models through requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and ensure consistency, integrity and benefits realization understanding across the enterprise
- Requirements Life Cycle Management: Analyze and maintain relationships between related requirements and designs, ensures the integrity, priorities and impacts are addressed, assesses proposed changes to requirements and designs, and collaborates with stakeholders to gain consensus on proposed changes
- Act as the Business Analyst Lead on small to medium projects, working closely with the Project Manager, Product Owner, and IS Leads to define scope, identify required IS Services and manage/develop Business Analysis deliverables, expectations and timelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify the business need of strategic or tactical importance, enables the enterprise to address that need, and aligns the resulting strategy for the change to any higher or lower level strategies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with business units within their portfolio through use of adaptive and consistent, above average communication and presentation skills
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role and/or IT work experience
- Excellent facilitation and customer service attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability for problem solving and end user thinking
- Ability to learn quickly and translate end user requirements into solution designs, while working collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to change in methodologies and practices
- Experience in supporting technical integrations between various systems and applications
- Ability to clearly define end to end solutions based on requirement definition, benefit realization and value
- Experience utilizing data flow modelling and architectural artifacts
- Ability to identify job sequence and dependencies
- Experience with the development of junior Business Analysts desirable
- Experience with Visio, Signavio or other modeling tools desirable
