Status: Temporary (nine month term position)
About the Role
The Business Analyst, Dayforce will:
- Lead discussions with department representatives to suggest improvements and solutions based on technology strategy and business processes.
- Conduct systems analysis to identify areas for improvement, enhancement or integration.
Identify, maintain and trace requirements from discovery to implementation. - Participate in creating design specifications to meet usability, efficiency and scalability goals.
- Coordinate testing cycles with business areas and vendor(s).
- Utilize reporting and data analysis tools to identify issues and assist with decision-making processes.
- Monitor tickets and action routine service requests.
- Maintain security and authorization model, including routine audits and provisioning activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures, solution structures and functional how-tos.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Information Technology or other related field.
- A minimum two years experience working as a Business Analyst or application analyst, preferably within an agile environment.
- Combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum or any software development methodologies.
- Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) or higher is considered an asset.
- Organizational change management or/and adult learning training is considered an asset.
- Experience working with SaaS and/or ERP products.
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption on the basis of a protected legal ground.
