Business Analyst Job Details
- The requested Comprehensive Longitudinal Primary Care Business Analyst will support the development, testing, configuration and implementation of Profile EMR at one of the sites during the term of the contract which may include:
- Configure Profile EMR to support new clinics
- Design and develop documentation solutions
- Configure Right Fax for each clinic that requires electronic receipt of faxes
- Configure Excelleris interface to support new clinics
- Train and support staff at the new clinics/teams in their use of Profile EMR
- Lead, participate and facilitate meetings and working group sessions with stakeholder representatives
- Documentation of requirements using such methods as storyboards and user cases to communicate effectively with end users and developers
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure high level business and system analysis and requirements are documented and signed off
- Apply Primary Care & Community Information Services team standards
- Work with stakeholders, including the PCCIS User Readiness team to develop a training and support plan
- Deliver training and support if needed and where necessary in conjunction with clinical education and PCCIS trainers
- Apply project to sustainment standards and processes to ensure seamless transition of new clinics/teams, infrastructure, interfaces, etc. to the sustainment team via documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
Business Analyst Mandatory Skills
- Experience with health information systems (e.g. Profile EMR, PARIS, etc.)
- Strong business analysis, facilitation, collaboration and leadership skills required.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and validation.
- Ability to perform gap analysis and impact assessment.

- Successful integration of healthcare systems.
- User adoption strategy knowledge
- Skills in change management processes particularly in healthcare settings.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs for new systems.

Business Analyst Nice-To-Have Skills
- BA Certification
- Understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) procedures.
Business Analyst Assignment Length
Four (4) month contract with the potential for one (1) extension of six (6) months.
