DescriptionBusiness Analyst and Business Case Development
The BA will perform technical and functional requirements analysis, develop requirements and design documentation, supporting workflows and fully qualified Jira Epics and Stories to facilitate Product Development through an Agile sprint lifecycle.
As needed, the BA will also assist DRO Project Managers in creating and maintaining project planning artifacts.
This role requires a highly organized and thorough Business Analyst, who is a self-starter and can demonstrate their extensive experience in both technical and functional fields.
Skills:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior BA in the healthcare sector in Canada.
Experience working with the Health Authorities in BC would be an asset.
Excellent skills gathering technical and functional requirements, processes, workflows, and conducting analysis in a healthcare setting.
Experience analyzing processes and understanding the interactions between various healthcare systems.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitating discovery sessions, workshops, developing agendas, requirements elicitation, and facilitating collaboration across a variety of stakeholder groups.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management and documentation skills.
Experience analyzing processes and understanding the interactions between various healthcare systems.
Ability to work with operations teams, develop documentation to meet their needs and support the development of change management, training, and user resources.
Knowledge of FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7, APIs an asset.
Strong communication skills to support communication between technical and business teams.
