Bruce Auto Group, niched in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, NS, is looking for a Business Development Centre (BDC) Manager to join the corporate team.
Our BDC currently supports 10 dealerships from New Minas to Yarmouth by responding to all phone and internet vehicle inquiries in an efficient and timely manner. More specifically, the BDC’s role is to answer initial questions from customers, respond to sales leads, book appointments, do long-term follow-ups and simplify the car buying experience with great first impressions and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the BDC agents by setting performance goals, providing training and coaching, and conducting regular performance evaluations
- Monitor daily operations of the BDC department and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner, and all sales leads are answered promptly.
- Ensure that BDC team members maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries promptly and effectively
- Manage and maximize the “Chat” feature from Bruce websites
- Assist the executive team and dealership management teams in the development and implementation of strategies to increase sales appointments and overall growth
- Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of BDC operations and implement strategies and plans for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other departments and the executive team to ensure that BDC operations are aligned with the Bruce sales process and overall business objectives
- Assist in maximizing the CRM, including coaching dealership employees and conducting regular CRM audits
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate BDC performance and progress to the executive team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to BDC operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years management experience, dealership management considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline will be considered an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driver’s abstract
- Strong leadership, coaching and management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing sales
- Strong computer skills for complex software applications
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Other Important Information:
- The BDC is a hybrid workplace. Agents may work from home, from the office or a mix of both.
- Regular Dealership visits will be required. You must be willing and comfortable driving between New Minas and Yarmouth.
- BDC business hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
