ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Business Development Coordinator will report to the Director of Regional Business Development and work with the small, tight-knit Business Development team in Vancouver, as well as the National Business Development team. You’ll consistently be surrounded by talented individuals, in a professional, collaborative environment. There is a possibility of a hybrid work model.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Business Development Coordinator will work out of the Vancouver office. They will take on a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Coordinate regional sponsorships, considering the full costs & benefits
- Assist the team’s implementation of business development plans
- Supporting the events team in organizing large-scale events and conferences, from planning to logistics on the day
- Create and edit marketing materials, such as press releases and website content
- Schedule meetings & prepare agendas
- Handle data in the CRM system and ensure it is up-to-date
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as needed
- Work overtime (compensated) when needed
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in business development/marketing positions
- Experience in professional services is an asset
- Experience in event planning or coordination
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- A self-starter with top-notch judgement, flexibility and able to prioritize
COMPENSATION
- $45,000 to $65,000, depending on experience
- 3 weeks vacation
- Extended health and dental coverage
- RRSP contributions
- Work-from-home equipment reimbursement
