The Clerk Receptionist performs a variety of clerical duties such as receiving visitors, scheduling appointments, telephone answering, transcribing and typing technical and non-technical material, and maintaining/updating filing systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Grade 12, medical terminology, plus two (2) years recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills And Abilities
- Keyboard at 60 wpm.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Deal with others effectively.
- Physically carry out the duties of the position.
- Organize work.
- Operate related equipment.
