This position is required to work in the Taber branch office.
However, periodically may be asked to work in other AFSC branches. Travel in these circumstances will be reimbursed according to AFSC’s Employee and Board of Directors Expense Policy.
As the Client Care Agent, you are a self-starter and a great communicator. You bring a passion for outstanding client service, and knowledge of Alberta and the Agriculture industry. You are the first impression and a key contributor for the delivery team to meet their goals.

- Manage client relationships by welcoming clients, handling client requests/inquiries and educating clients on AFSC products and services through multiple communication channels (in person, over the phone, electronically and online).
- Ensure a positive experience through courteous interactions.
- Manage client relationships by carrying out procedural tasks and referring clients to the appropriate team member as required.
- Provide quality service to clients while identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention.
- Execute a range of client service activities, including handling client information and answering enquiries in a fast-paced multifaceted environment.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize information to provide a resolution as quickly as possible to the client enquiries (online problem solving, trouble shooting and real time support in person, over the phone or online through chats and email.
- Conduct data entry into AFSC systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Prepare documents using a multitude of computer applications and responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
- Perform outbound calls to clients and potential clients, as required, to assist producers with their AFSC programs.
- Utilize various online platforms to engage departments and assist with client enquiries.
- Provide assistance to the Client Care team virtually or in person as required.
- Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.

High School Diploma and 3 years of experience OR
College Diploma and 1 year of related experience
