The Client Care Coordinator will report to the Clinical Department and play an important role to support Bellwood’s clinical and medical teams that provide patient care. On a daily basis, the Client Care Coordinator will be responsible for assisting clinical leadership with maintaining staff schedules, shift coverage and updating client schedules. In addition, the Client Care Coordinator will be a key player to prepare and audit clinical reports for case managers, referents, third party payors and corporations. As an expert in our reporting structure, the reporting coordinator will work to ensure all reports are sent out to relevant parties with the appropriate clinical input and in a timely fashion.
JOB FUNCTION AND DUTIES:
- Daily Staff scheduling
- Working with the Nursing & Mental Health and Addiction Support Worker teams to organize staffing coverage for planned and unplanned absences
- Responsible for payroll submission and updating timecards
- Attend clinical rounds to be knowledgeable of staffing needs
- Audit all reports after clinician input, ensuring they are up to referents standards
- Liaising with client's care team to ensure proper documentation and reporting is followed and to collaborate on client/referent issues that arise
- Adhere to WSIB submission due dates
- Attending weekly WSIB clinical case conference meeting
- Preparing and proofreading WSIB Reports
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
- Post-secondary education or relevant experience in social services, medical administration an asset
SKILLS:
- Familiarity with, or experience in the healthcare sector
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, and written
- Experience with Salesforce (or another CRM) a significant asset
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to collaborate across departments is essential
- Must be detail oriented
- A self-directed, creative team player
- Proven ability to identify and develop key customer relationships with a proven history of building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrated effective time management skills
