The Position:
GymZone Gymnastics & Athletics is looking to hire a part-time, friendly, enthusiastic Client Service Administrator. The successful applicant will:
- Ensure all staff are performing their roles to the best of their abilities and are acting in a professional manner
- Support the Recreational Director and Competitive Director in finding coaching replacements as required
- Coordinate child/teen/adult registrations for gymnastics, trampoline, go ninja, silks, school visits, day camps, inclusive programming which includes but it not limited to: taking payments, issuing receipts and recommending appropriate programs
- Deliver excellent customer service in-person, over the phone and via email
- Schedule birthday party staff and manage/re-stock inventory of party supplies (ex: tablecloths, garbage bags)
- Monitor class attendance and ratios to ensure continued growth and to identify and proactively resolve any issues
- Coordination of holiday and other event decoration set up as well as manage inventory of items
- Oversee completion of daily deposits and preparation of bank deposit
- Timely creation of session newsletters and populate bulletin board with monthly calendars and other relevant information for membership
- Review client accounts to ensure good-standing and resolve any past due amounts
- Assist with ensuring our online parent portal class information and schedule is current
- Communicate the need of office, facility or staff supplies
- Ongoing Membership data entry into Gymnastics Ontario
- Communicate all relevant information and program updates to social media and website manager
- Regular facility checks to ensure the entrance/washrooms are inviting and clean
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would possess the following:
- Some post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Fitness Management or Sports Administration. Completion of degree or diploma not required but would be considered an asset
- Natural leadership ability and willingness to take initiative
- Excellent computer skills with class management software (Excel, Word, Canva, Google Suite, Uplifter)
- Exceptional customer service and promotional skills
- Polite and enthusiastic disposition (on phone and in person)
- Desire to work in a child-centric environment while professionally communicating with the adult demographic
- Organized, quick-learner with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a fast-paced team environment
- Self-starter with a willingness to grow in a small business environment
