The Mountain Resorts Branch is an amazing teamthat administers all-seasons resorts and community ski areas across the Province.The Branch administers the phased development of existing all-seasons resorts and ski areas through Master Development and Operating Agreements and reviews Master Plans for expansion and new proposals. It is housed in the Tourism Division of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport. This position plays a key role in the provincial scope branch providing essential support for branch operations and the delivery of financial and administrative services for the program area.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Secondary School Graduation or equivalent.
- Two (2) years administrative support experience in an office environment.
- Six (6) months experience coordinating the assembly of financial data for budget preparation (accounts processing and budget tracking) or supporting financial functions.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- One (1) year experience supervising and/or leading others, including training staff, establishing priorities, and allocating work, appraising performance
- Six (6) month's experience in contract administration in a public sector environment.
- Two (2) years experience coordinating the assembly of financial data for budget preparation (accounts processing and budget tracking) or supporting financial functions.
