JOB SUMMARY
This job is exclusively for Coop Students who are enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-operative education program.
The mandate of Information Technology Services is to create business value by providing innovative and strategic technology solutions for the business operations of the City of Ottawa.
You are responsible for assisting with assigned Information Technology solutions, projects, programs and/or services. You may work in various disciplines and functions within the Information Technology environment, such as desktop support, applications, planning, business analysis, project co-ordination, software development and technology architecture support. At the City, the work atmosphere is an open, fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Enrolment in a recognized post-secondary co-operative program in computer science, computer engineering, Information Technology or related field

- You may initially be paid 95% of your starting rate of pay, in accordance with the terms and conditions.
- Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
