The Role: Coordinator, Office of the Registrar
A full-time, continuing position is available in our Office of the Registrar. The position will provide critical administrative and program support to the Executive Office of the College. The role reports to the manager, Governance and Council Relations and will be part of a team supporting the Executive Office.
As a support role within the College, there is the ability to work remotely, under a hybrid model.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
What you will be doing in the role:
- Communicating with College stakeholders, including drafting correspondence, reports and presentations, coordinating meetings, facilitating logistical support
- Assisting with major corporate initiatives and projects such as the annual budget cycle, development of strategic plans, governance review, committee processes.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for BoardEffect, maintain the platform, troubleshooting, providing orientation sessions, acting as a liaison between vendors and the College.
- Provide high-level support to Council and Committee members, ensuring exceptional service while displaying diplomacy, confidentiality and tact.
- Monitoring incoming expenses and per diem claims, negotiating corporate rates with hotels and booking hotel rooms.
What you will bring to the role:
- A post-secondary diploma in administration or equivalent combination of education and experience. If you have education in law or legal studies, that would be an asset!
- A minimum three years’ experience in office administration or equivalent. If you have worked in a regulatory or legal setting, that would also be an asset!
- A desire to take initiative, demonstrate professionalism, and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- The ability to work independently and to contribute as an integral member of a team.
- Skills and talents that allow you to easily navigate multiple tasks setting priorities, achieving deadlines, while being accurate and attentive to details.
- A positive attitude, proactive work ethic and demonstrated commitment to providing a helpful customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate information in a concise and objective manner.
- Advanced computer literacy, proven expertise and hands-on experience in effectively utilizing the Microsoft 365 suite, including MS Dynamics, to leverage its full capabilities and ensure seamless operations within our organization.
Compensation and Benefits

- Target hiring salary range is up to $ 77,157 annually.
- Downtown Toronto office (close to subway).
