Telpay, Canada's leading electronic payment solution provider, is seeking a Customer Care Professional to join our team — but not just any Customer Care Professional. We're in search of someone who will contribute to our mission of transforming how businesses manage their payments, knows how to create a positive first impression for all customers, provides exceptional Customer Care, and fosters a friendly work environment.
What You'll Do:
- Respond to Customer Inquiries: Be the first point of contact for our customers, offering timely and accurate responses to their questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on our payment platform’s features and functionalities.
- Provide Product Training & Support: Help customers understand our services through comprehensive training and support, ensuring they get the most out of our payment platform.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience: At least 2 years in a customer support role, providing exceptional service and effectively handling customer inquiries.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding telephone etiquette, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and professional interactions with customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Bookkeeping Knowledge: A good understanding of bookkeeping principles to enhance support for customer financial transactions.
- Accounting Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage to offer superior customer assistance.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving a range of issues, including technical difficulties, account setup, and transaction queries, while collaborating with the product and technical teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, CRM, and similar customer service software, facilitating efficient customer service and resolution of inquiries.
- Adaptability: Able to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
- Language Skills: Bilingual capabilities in French and English are preferred.
Work Schedule: 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
