As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide set up for rental functions, front desk Customer Service, and support the booking process for various Calgary Parks facilities including the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, Reader Rock Garden, Devonian Gardens, and Ralph Klein Park. Primary duties include:
Serve as the first point of contact for events and provide on site event management.
Assist with setting up projectors, microphones, tables, and chairs.
Provide tours to rental clients as required.
Ensure facilities are clean and orderly.
Conduct inventory and maintain supplies.
Ensure building and assets are secure.
Respond to inquiries and provide information on facility room bookings.
Qualifications
A High School diploma or equivalency (For example: GED) and at least 6 months related experience.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is considered to be an asset.
Technical working knowledge of audio visual equipment is an asset.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in event planning and knowledge of local nature.
Well developed communication skills coupled with strong decision making and problem solving abilities are necessary.
Applicants should have a strong Customer Service focus, be results-oriented, and have a high stress tolerance.
Demonstrated efficiency, thoroughness, adaptability, and flexibility.
The ability to collaborate and work effectively in both a team environment and independently.
Pre-employment Requirements
A security clearance will be conducted.
Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.

Location: Various
Compensation: Pay Grade 3 $24.96 - 33.38 per hour
Days of Work: This position works weekdays, evenings, weekends, and occasional Statutory holidays as required.
Hours of work: On-Call hours will vary, based on operational requirements.
