The successful candidate for the Customer Service Specialist position will play a pivotal role in providing exception service to our clients, putting the CUSTOMER FIRST.
In the Customer Service Specialist role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued trade professional and business clients.
Your responsibilities will encompass delivering outstanding Customer Service, sharing your product knowledge, and ensuring smooth and efficient transactions. You'll guide clients through product selection, answer inquiries, and provide expert assistance in their decision-making process.
Your friendly and proactive approach will not only help maintain and strengthen our client relationships but also contribute to the continued success of our business.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide primary phone support; secondary as scheduled.
- Account creation/informing sales team of possible new contacts.
- Manage the Customer Service email, responding to customer inquiries within 4 business hours.
- Accurately process customer orders as received by phone, email, webstore and provide in-person customer engagement at our trade desk.
- Assist callers through resolving inquiries and assisting with requests and picking up orders.
- Manage pick up orders by making notice and reminder calls.
- Process customer returns and exchanges, while keeping trade counter tidy, stocked and presentable.
- Communicate with customers by making outbound calls and sending emails to inform them of updates and resolve inquiries.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability.
- Suggest order add-ons and offer alternative products. Product knowledge is key!
- Effectively resolve customer requests and inquiries to the customer’s full satisfaction.
- Create quotes, vendor order forms, and sales history.
- Create customer accounts within our ERP/CRM database.
- Approve and maintain webstore user accounts.
- Process customer payments by credit card.
- Complete Customer Service clerical tasks.
