The expected compensation for this position is $18-$19 per hour, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering. FYidoctors - Campbell River is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newestCustomer Services Specialist.

As the Customer Services Specialist, you will play a critical role within FYidoctors by delivering world-class service to our patients. We hope you'll bring with you your passion for people and your drive to provide an exceptional customer experience. With your help, we'll continue to have a positive impact on our current patient's health and well-being, as well as the patients we haven't yet met.

This position is a full-time, permanent role working up to 40 hours per week.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Ensuring all patient data is accurate and up to date
• Billing the patient, their medical service provider and other third parties
• Confirming current and booking future appointments
• Generating referral letters to specialists
• Taking case histories from the patients
• Performing preliminary testing for doctors
• Performing retinal imaging
• Maintaining our exam rooms, making sure they are clean and well-stocked
• Contributing to help the team reach their goals
• Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills

What Do You Bring?

• Ideally, you will have some customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
• Experience in the optical world or knowledge of routine eye care would be beneficial but not essential
• Familiarity and comfort using technology and computers
• A track record of learning new systems and processes
• Professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
