Job Overview:
The Data Analyst is responsible for administering pipeline related data associated with the ongoing operation and maintenance activities of the pipeline and the capture of project related records in compliance with Centra’s record collections process and procedures. This role involves following a structured approach to data hierarchy and categorization, ensuring the data's integrity, accessibility, and efficiency. The Data Analyst will work closely with the Manager IT & Systems Administrator to align data strategies with the overall IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Data Management and Organization – utilize systems for efficient data collection, storage, and analysis while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Data Capture, Reporting and Assessment – create and maintain consistency in input data and reporting data output.
- System Integration - ensure seamless integration of data with their respective systems for efficient data flow across platforms.
- Information Hierarchy and Categorization – maintain a structured framework for data organization and categorization and suggest improvements.
- Policy and Standards Development - maintain data management policies and procedures, including standardization and quality control and suggest improvements and efficiencies.
- Collaboration with Teams - work with team members to align related data with IT related strategies.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation - evaluate and implement new technologies and tools for data management with the Manager IT & Systems Administrator.
- Training and Support - provide training and support to team members on data management.
- Continuous Improvement - continually seek improvements in data management processes and systems.
- Assigned administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related technical field (e.g., computer science, information systems) or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in data analysis, database management, and data integration tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and project management abilities.
