Job Description: Dental Administrator

We are looking to hire a Dental Administrator for our SE office (Lakeside Dental of Mahogany) as we are expanding the clinic hours.

1-2 years of dental experience is preferred but not required.

Comprehensive knowledge of Dentrix is an asset.

shifts include weekdays (both morning and evening shifts) and alternating Saturdays, a total of 4-5 days/ week.

The clinic is located in the beautiful community of Mahogany (Calgary SE).

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Morning shift

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a dental office
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Process insurance claims and handle billing tasks
- Order and maintain office supplies

Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a dental office setting
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
