Dental Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. This is a vital role as you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our electronic medical records system (Tracker)
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists as needed
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Provide administrative support to dental staff as required

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting is preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and workflows is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
