- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using phone systems or electronic scheduling software
- Collect and update patient information in electronic records
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Manage patient billing and payment processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience working at the front desk of a dental or medical office
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (e.g., ClearDent)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
