```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary information from patients
- Maintain patient records and update. (DomX)
-Quickbooks is an asset, and any bookkeeping knowledge.
-Billing and insurance claims processing
- Administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow office protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
-Coordinate appointments with other dental offices and oral surgeons.
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a dental/medical receptionist. Will consider recent grad from a recognized dental or medical admin course.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures strong asset.
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
-Proficient in English speaking and writing, second language definite asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
-Office cleaning once a week.
-Sterilization of tools and equipment. Training provided.
Must be able to start immediately. Term is for 12 months with possibility of permanent.

Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
