Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate with dental providers and other staff members to ensure smooth office operations
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using dental office software such as cleardent
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
