Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Dental Office experience
- Knowledge of Insurance, predeterminations, and related processes
- Knowledge of conventional dental practice and procedures
- Proficiency in Cleardent management program an asset
- Strong telephone and oral communication skills
- Able to multitask efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Able to proficiently operate a multi-line, VoIP phone system
- Strong math skills - General computer skills
- QuickBooks knowledge an asset
- Process patients paperwork and payments
- Comfortable with financial discussions and collecting payments
- Sensitive to patient fears and concerns
- Ensuring documentation is scanned into charts and kept current
- Reviewing and discussing treatment plans following consultations
- Submitting insurance predeterminations and claims
- Provide support to team members, primarily Receptionists & Treatment Coordinator
- Receiving calls from patients and referring dental offices
- Send medical evaluations to doctor offices - Run occasional miscellaneous errands
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
