Dietary Aide/Cook

Requirements:

LOOKING FOR A DIETARY AIDE IN A LONG-TERM CARE HOME

• Cooking experience
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler, or equivalent (preferred)
• Positive mindset
• Food Handlers certificate
• Proof of 3 COVID-19 Vaccinations
• Criminal Background Check
• Experience working in a kitchen environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
• Experience leading a group of kitchen staff an asset
• Must live in the area or willing to commute

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Casual

Salary: Up to $28.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
