Description:
Our client, a financial services company, is seeking an experienced Application Security Analyst to support incident management and event monitoring for a Digital Banking Application. The ideal Application Security Analyst candidate will monitor internet traffic, investigating events like bot attacks, bot mitigation and DDOS attacks.
Responsibilities:

-Monitor front-end web traffic from an attack perspective.
-Respond to security incidents and write incident response reports.
-Assist with threat prevention and mitigation for a Digital Banking Application.
-Investigate bot and DDoS attacks.
-Work with the web application firewall.
-Collect SIEM (IDR) telemetry data into a central location for Security Operations (SecOps) and provide visibility dashboards and alerts.
-Create incident responses and put additional mitigations in place to alert end users.
-Develop and implement Digital Banking monitoring use cases.
-This role may require additional on-call/after hours support, on an as-needed basis.
Requirements:

-4+ years of experience as a Security Analyst working within SecOps.
-Experience working with F5 Silverline, Akamai, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and/or Azure Kubernetes would be nice to have.
-Familiarity with web application cybersecurity platforms, such as Rapid7’s InsightIDR.
-Previous experience supporting a Digital Banking Application, ideally ebankIT, would be ideal.
-Experience identifying, managing, and mitigating incident response for applications.
-Experience creating incident management reports.
-Experience working with web application firewalls (WAF), such as Akamai.
-Previous experience placing protections in place for web-facing Banking Applications, specifically for use case monitoring, alerts, triage, and incident management use cases.
-Please note that this role may require occasional after-hours support.
