What is the opportunity?
The role of Developer, Digital Marketing is to build and maintain websites for some of Canada's leading Wealth Management advisors. Working closely with our Digital Branding Team, you will be responsible for producing pixel-perfect websites by leveraging high fidelity designs and functional specifications, consulting with the team to decide on solutions, and then code, QA, and launch within a modern CMS environment.
To succeed as Developer, Digital Marketing, you will be a creative problem solver, maintain a strong working knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks, can learn new technologies quickly, and work effectively on an agile team of copywriters, designers, developers, and project managers.

What you will do:
- Write and maintain high-quality, modular, and well-documented code.
- Work within the headless CMS product to build and optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with our internal Digital Branding team, digital designers, content strategists and project managers.
- Design and develop code structures to promote reusability across multiple websites and apps.
- Actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and address other QA issues.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have :
- 2+ years' experience building web and mobile-optimized websites with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript; strong proficiency with a modern JS application framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.); working knowledge of Typescript.
- Knowledge of API integration.
- Excellent command of various applications and tools including Content Management Systems.
- Experience with implementing responsive, WCAG 2.0 and AODA designs.
- Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize under pressure.
- Experience with source version control; Git strongly preferred.
Nice-to-have:
Understanding of Agile Development principles and practices.
- Comfortable working with Jira and Wrike.
- Experience using Figma.
- Familiarity with SEO and performance best practices.
- Experience with Digital Marketing concepts and tools, including Google Analytics, Ads, and tag manager.
