The Direct Support Professional IIrole is to support people to plan for and live the lives they want in collaboration with co-workers and the person’s support circle. The Direct Support Professional II works as part of the team in problem solving and ensuring consistent and smooth operation of the home and follows people's behaviour support plans. The Direct Support Professional II will provide support in an environment of accountability, rights and respect that is consistent with Community Living Dufferin’s Mission, Vision, Values, the strategic plan, as well as relevant regulations/legislation.
We are looking for people to provide support to those who have Prader Willi Syndrome by working as part of a team to help provide a safe environment and ensure consistency in daily routines in order to enhance coping abilities for the people supported in this program. The opportunity to work within this specialized service team will provide you with a valuable experience and environment to develop your skills while enriching the lives of the people you will be supporting.
