Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the District Manager serves as the primary point of contact for restaurants and is responsible for leading, supporting, and partnering with franchisees to develop and facilitate the necessary capabilities to achieve results in their assigned restaurants.
The District Manager is accountable for financial and performance metrics in their territory, including sales, comparable sales, average ticket, EBITDA, results of customer experience-related programs, food safety, compliance with standards, and market uniformity with the network, as well as adherence to franchise agreements.

Providing Guests with a Perfect Experience
- Establishing and strengthening a trusting relationship with franchisees through operation-focused visits to improve business outcomes.
- Conducting operational and financial assessments in restaurants in accordance with the brand's annual plans, writing follow-up reports, and action plans with franchisees.
- Communicating brand standards and sharing resources to help franchisees and their employees consistently strive for excellence.
- Acting as a liaison between restaurant management and the brand's leadership team to communicate potential issues affecting guest experiences.
- Managing customer dissatisfaction according to brand standards, ensuring prompt resolution of feedback.
Development – Associate Engagement
- Training and assisting in the development of restaurant employees to ensure an optimal customer experience.
- Overseeing the training and effective implementation of headquarters programs, encouraging employee feedback to strengthen leadership capabilities.
- Holding informative and training meetings with franchisees, both in person and virtually.
Sales Growth and Customer Numbers
- Achieving comparable store sales budgets, developing realistic budgets, and analyzing internal and external factors affecting sales.
- Ensuring stores are prepared for new products, program launches, and marketing campaigns, including local marketing.
Financials and Restaurant Profitability
- Establishing business and financial goals with franchisees, reviewing financial statements, and proposing operational improvements.
- Regularly conducting financial follow-ups to quickly identify opportunities and best practices to enhance restaurant profitability.
Profile
- Degree in restaurant management or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in the supervision and/or management of restaurants.
- Knowledge of cuisine would be an asset.
- Enjoy working on the road.
- Customer service-oriented.
- High degree of autonomy to clearly establish priorities and necessary action plans.
- Communication skills, attentive, and inspiring confidence.
- Business acumen and a good understanding of financial statement analysis, as well as food and labor costs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and its various programs.
This position is on the road, home office based and you must travel throughout NS and PEI.
