Electrical Assembler: Afternoon Shift
Job Description
Quickmill requires motivated individuals to join our Manufacturing Team. You will work as part of a Team on New Machine Projects from sub-assemblies to the complete build and testing of these large CNC Machines. You will contribute to the success and innovation of a small Technical Team within an entrepreneurial environment. Job involves following assembly procedures, considerable fitting, aligning, and adjusting to strict tolerances as required.
Panel Wiring professionals meticulously assemble, install, and troubleshoot electrical wiring systems in control panels. Responsibilities encompass reading schematics, testing circuits, and ensuring safety standards compliance. Expertise in electrical systems and problem-solving skills are essential. In-house Lead on new machine build projects.
Requirements:
- Experience in panel wiring and electrical installations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Knowledge of various electrical components and their functions
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools to perform wiring tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate wiring and connections
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures when working with electricity
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Install and wire electrical components in control panels according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in control panels
- Use hand and power tools to complete panel wiring tasks
- Perform quality control checks to ensure panels are wired correctly
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when working with electrical components
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Document work performed and provide progress updates to project managers.
Wages: Starting $24.00+/Hr. (based on qualifications and experience)

Experience (2+ years preferred)
Electrical experience an asset.
· Industrial automation and manufacturing experience is preferable.
· Self-motivated and demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills/abilities within a team environment.
· Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload
· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
· Knowledge of precision assembly techniques
· Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
Education
· Certificate or diploma an asset.
