Job description

We have an opening for a full-time eyewear Sales and admin position in our optical/optometrist's office. This position combines the responsibilities of selling eyeglasses & contact lenses,managing the Front Desk, and assisting with administrative patient duties. We are seeking to grow our team by adding a dedicated and outgoing person who has a strong desire to learn. Being computer savvy, having great interpersonal skills and a passion for providing superb patient care is an asset.

Previous sales in eyewear and administrative experience is preferred, but not necessary. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties: *will include but not be limited to*

· General reception duties including scheduling appointments, invoicing, insurance billing, answering phones calls/emails, taking payments, etc.

· Staying current on product knowledge and fashion trends in order to accurately guide the patient’s eyewear needs

· Pretesting patients using automated equipment prior to seeing the Optometrist

· Miscellaneous in-office duties as assigned
