Finance Assistant

Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the finance and accounting departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant include collecting payments, invoicing customers, drafting financial documents, and reconciling bank records. Major responsibilities

• Own the bookkeeping processes of the company
• Own daily accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
• Work with incoming and outgoing funds to reconcile financial books
• Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents
• Track expenses and evaluate financial budgets
• Perform administrative duties as necessary
• Connect with clients as necessary via email and phone
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet application highly desired
• Prior bookkeeping experience preferred
• Skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as strong time management abilities
• High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills
