What You’ll Do:
Application Management: Efficiently process and review insurance applications to ensure completeness and accuracy, meticulously entering data into the processing systems.
Document Administration: Organize and maintain critical policy documents and endorsements, ensuring a well-organized and accessible filing system.
Client Service Communications: Representing Merit by answering calls from our amazing Brokers and becoming their first point of contact. Professionally respond to inquiries from agents and insureds regarding policy status, billing issues, or general information in a timely manner.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed and accurate reports, assisting underwriting in making data-driven decisions through Data Entry.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments, and contribute to special projects as needed, ensuring seamless operations and excellence in customer service.
Receivables Deposit Management: Entering some receivables deposit information and tracking certain payments.
What You’ll Need for Success:
Minimum of 1 year in the insurance industry in a support role or equivalent preferred
Graduate of College/University or Insurance Program preferred
Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Adobe
Knowledge of industry software is an asset, and new technology for work flows
Effective communication and people skills
Strong attention to detail and Data Entry skills
Ability to work independently and in a team structure
Ability to self-manage and meet daily process requirements
