Financial Controller

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join our young and dynamic expanding team and seek a motivated and pro-active individual who is ready to jump into a busy and exciting field. This role will report to the Company Management team and Board of Directors.
Major Areas of responsibility include:

• Manage and oversee daily bookkeeping Operations
• Manage and supervise local and remote AP and AR team members across various branches located in Canada
• Bookkeeping data entry
• Manage Cash flow
• Provide Management Reports and Financial Analysis as needed
• Liaison with external accountants, bankers, Insurance Representatives
• Ensure all Statutory Requirements are met
• Preparation of Income tax returns, GST returns and Payroll CPP, EI.
• Accounts Payable – Review and authorize payments
• Accounts Receivable – collection of account receivable on a timely basis.
• Credit checking and authorization of credit accounts
• Responsible for Financial year end preparation for accounting firm.
• Various ad-hoc financial analysis
• Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Accounting Certificate CPA/CGA/CMA an asset
• Very strong analytical and cash flow forecasting skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to change in a dynamic and fast growing environment
• Extensive Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience with CDK IntelliDealer System an asset.

Salary: $95,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
