Fishing Lodge Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant

Langara Island Lodge is a 5 star Fishing Lodge on the northern island of Haida Gwaii, BC. We are looking for Stewards/Dishwashers to join our team for the 2024 season Mid May to Early September. Position includes Housing, Food and Tips and use of Employee boat in addition to Monthly salary.

We take pride in delivering phenomenal hospitality for our guest’s when they are off the water to create a welcoming and relaxed experience within our lodges. We strive to consistently provide a world class lodging experience the steward position will allow the applicant to pick up hands on kitchen experience as well as pre season prep and after season breakdown. The steward position works hand in hand with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

Working in remote Haida Gwaii is an experience of a lifetime! LIL as a company puts great emphasis on providing comfortable and quality staff accommodation (you have your own room), food, and above all else, a safe and inclusive environment. Staff can expect to have their own rooms, with all meals provided.

Applicant experience should include but is not limited to:

• Guest Service in the hospitality industry
• Kitchen experience
• Remote camp work or lodge work
• Travel in helicopter or fixed wing aircraft
• Multitasking, and organization
• Interest or passion for the outdoors
• Physical labor

Qualifications should include (but is not required at time of application

• Food Safe
• First Aid and CPR not required but recommended.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: From $4,300.00 per month
