The Heritage Inn & Convention Centre in Pincher Creek, Alberta is hiring!
What You Will Do:
- Hire, train and supervise all restaurant staff and provide effective ongoing training for all new and existing staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations of department staff.
- Respond to guest concerns efficiently.
- Coordinate daily tasks and schedules of all department staff.
- Keep work area stocked, organized, and sanitized at all times.
- Ensure work areas and equipment are kept functional at all times, reporting any deficiencies as necessary.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is available for shift work and weekends.
- Cares about their professional appearance and follows uniform and dress code standards.
- Is able to perform efficiently under pressure and within time restraints.
- Is able to work cooperatively with hotel employees and customers.
- Has their Food and Beverage Server Certification (preferred).
- Has their Food Safety Certificate (preferred).
- Applies safe work practices.
Skill Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Great organizational skills
- Well developed supervisory skills
Knowledge, Experience, and Training:
- Knowledge of basic computer operation
- Extensive knowledge of provincial labor standards regulations
- Extensive knowledge of WCB regulations
- Knowledge of WHMIS program
- Knowledge of provincial liquor regulations
- Training and Evaluation techniques
- Short and Long Term Planning
- Guest Relations
- Team Development techniques
- Policy and Procedure Implementation
- Problem Solving, Discipline Maintenance, and Conflict Resolution
- Cost Control
Industry Experience:
- A minimum of two years experience as a Food and Beverage server is required.

- The position may require long periods of standing.
